I’m so grateful for The Cabot Performing Arts Center’s donation of tickets that allowed me and other veterans to be present on Sunday, April 13th for the Tom Rush Club 47 show. What a salve for the soul! The Cabot is such a great venue, and all the people associated with it who I’ve encountered have just been absolutely wonderful! The show itself was so powerful, from Tom’s opening with “Making the Best of a Bad Situation,” to the closing, with Tom, Cheryl Wheeler, Kenny White, and Monica Rizzio all on stage to lead the audience through a rendition of “Wasn’t That a Mighty Storm,” it was a night to cherish and remember. Thanks so very, very much to all the good folks at The Cabot for their support of veterans, which made it possible for me to be there for such an incredible show!
