Dear Tampa Bay Rays, The Rays v. Angels game on April 9 was the first time we’ve ever gotten tickets from Vet Tix. My husband is Active Duty Navy stationed at MacDill AFB. We brought his parents to the game with us. His dad is a Navy Veteran. We had never been to Steinbrenner Field before, so that was a hoot. This was one of the most entertaining games of the season. Thank you Tampa Bay Rays for letting me be a part of it. The game was non stop action and I believe 6 homeruns thruout the game. The best part was Jose Caballero grand slam. It was amazing to witness the crowd energize after that homerun shot to right field. My boys had a great time with their favorite soft serve ice cream Mister Softee and pretzels. My mother took a new baseball I had brought to the game and had gotten an autograph by a Rays player but we cannot make the autograph out was still cool to see her get ink to the ball. My mother is learning the players and the ones she remembers are Jose Caballero and Yandy Diaz because those two Rays players hit homeruns. The game was excellent and I captured Jose Caballero's grand slam on video in the bottom of the 1st inning which can be viewed at this youtube link. https://youtu.be/sv7dwc_KndU?si=cf2NqysnbCeg6Iye It's awesome to hear a fan call out grand slam out loud before the pitch and the very next pitch it's in fact a grand slam. Awesome memories made my favorite game of the season. Thank you to the TB Rays for these tickets it gave me opportunity to spend with my children on a day that I usually dont have scheduled with my kids. Go Rays!
