What an awesome game we got to see. Checkers were down 2 and then scored 3 unanswered goals to win the game in the final minute. Thanks to all that made it happen for me, my son, his best friend and his wife over the Christmas break.

Thank you, Charlotte Checkers, for making this experience possible. I was able to my father to the game last night on his 70th birthday and we had an incredible time with a game winner right at the end. Couldn’t have gone better. We also sat in front of a Marine who had been wounded in Iraq and was at the game with his family. Great conversation and a great experience thanks to y’all. We really appreciate what you do for the veteran community and Charlotte as a whole. Merry Christmas!
