The opening speech by President Kennedy and the National Anthem by the UH Matching Band brought an amazing start of what was to become by far one of the most incredible nights of my life! Wow! The Doobie Brothers, my favourite band of all time, along with every one of the groups, was absolutely spot on! Thanks for the fantastic night Live Nation and VETTIX! To all of those who donate to VetTix...THANK YOU!!! First of all, the event was a blast, and a great opportunity to spend time with my family and honor the other veterans in attendance. It is always good to spend time with my brothers and sisters. Secondly, the event itself was intended to honor out Nation's heros, and it was executed fantastically. We were able to see bands that were always bucket-list groups for me, and so, another reason to say thank you.
